It's likely that you'll have questions as you begin the process of starting school. The start of a trimester is a busy time for our Admissions department, but if you have any urgent needs, please email us at admissions@tcatknoxville.edu. In the meantime, here's a couple of Frequently Asked Questions that we receive from students that will help you ensure that you're ready to start classes come September!
NEW STUDENT GUIDE
- TCAT Knoxville is a clock hour school, which means attendance is required for you to succeed in and complete your program. Please review this year's academic calendar to plan appointments, vacations, and intentional absences to ensure you won't be missing class time.
- Day Class Schedule: 8:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Evening Class Schedule: 3:30pm - 10:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Arrive least fifteen minutes before your class starts to allow you time to find your class location.
- Student Services staff will be present at each building entrance to guide you.
- Visit your program page on our website and review the cost sheet, in order to review all program costs, including tuition, books, uniforms, and supplies.
- If you have questions about supplies, please reach out to your program instructor. Their contact information will be listed at the bottom of the program page.
- Student badges and parking passes (as needed) will be issued on the first day of classes.
- Your instructor will have the schedule of when badges for your program will be made.
