The Commercial Program Coordinator supports the delivery of commercial programs. The position facilitates the tracking and strategic advisement of Advertising and Consumer Promotion financials for North American consumer brands. The Coordinator works closely with the broader Marketing organization and Finance; as the key resource for gathering, executing, and forecasting commercial program activity, and providing accurate reporting of the financial impact of these activities. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

·       Manages individual brand marketing programs that change frequently over the course of their lifecycle.

·       Responsible for accurately forecasting brand Advertising and Consumer Promotion activity.

·       Partners with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase/change orders, agency scopes/estimates, and external vendor estimates.

·       Prepares materials for monthly forecast reviews with broader Marketing organization and Finance.

·       Actively participates in strategic discussions with extended brand team and contributes to decision-making process.

·       Responsible for working with several software applications across different platforms, including Excel, OneNote, SAP, web-based, and internally designed solutions.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The Commercial Program Coordinator must have good organizational skills to manage the various marketing programs that exist as well as the ability to handle fast-paced environments given the dynamic nature of these programs. Advertising and Consumer Promotion spending is reflected on the brand Profit and Loss statement, so attention to detail is critical. The candidate must be able to communicate with all functions of the organization and possess the ability to decipher and speak to financial data with key stakeholders. The individual should be able to understand, translate, and provide useful insights of the financial implications related to decisions, actions, and team objectives. 

REPORTING HIERARCHY

The Commercial Program Coordinator reports to the Marketing Services Team Leader within the Global Business Services organization. The primary customers include Commercial Program Managers and extended brand teams. Other key stakeholders include Finance, Global Procurement, external vendors, and the broader Marketing organization

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Junior or Senior majoring in finance, accounting, economics, or related field

• Demonstrated analytical, communication, and leadership skills

• Cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher

• Microsoft Excel  and OneNote proficiency.  SAP experience a plus

• Ability to work part-time when school is in session  full-time (40 hours/week) from late May to late August

• Presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis
