Aqua-Chem is looking for an MIG/TIG Welder who is responsible for welding/assembling components and subassemblies in accordance with company standards. Working primarily in a manufacturing setting, successful candidate will work under the direction of a Manufacturing Supervisor.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (overtime may be required on occasional Fridays)
Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hr (Dependent on Experience)

Essential Duties:
- Daily pipe welding of materials such as stainless steel, Titanium, and Copper Nickel
- Assembly of pipe sections, tubing, or fittings with the use of welding equipment
- Layout of full-scale drawings of pipe systems according to specifications
- Welding of pipes using specialized techniques, equipment or materials.
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
- Comprehend and follow ISO procedures to ensure compliance with standard
- Movement of materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow within the manufacturing process
- Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time
- Perform rigging, lifting and moving of product using cranes, forklifts, metal carts etc.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement program
- Guide/mentor/train co-workers in accordance with company standards
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on cement surfaces and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, squat, climb ladders, and climb stairs
- Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding to the outside ambient temperature
- Advanced shop math, layout and measurement skills
- Advanced reading and interpretation of blueprints/drawings
- Able to work overtime as required
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years welding in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience welding of materials such as Titanium and Copper Nickel
- MIG/TIG experience
- Familiar with NDE Procedures
- Previous pipefitting experience
