The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for a Part-Time Work Study Student in the Surgical Technology Program. Work schedule is flexible and would be Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. depending on the students schedule at rate of $12.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications:
To qualify for a Federal Work-Study award, a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), meet the general eligibility requirements for federal student aid, demonstrate financial need and be enrolled at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville.
Any current student can apply to any open work study position
Student should have ability to follow instructions, basic math skills, ability to use a calculator and write clearly, strong reading comprehension skills, ability to communicate clearly verbally, ability to sit or stand for 1-2 hours at a time, read cursive,
Preferred Qualifications:
Typing skills and experience with Microsoft programs
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grading simple assignments
- Computer data entry
- Filing
- Faxing, scanning, printing and copying documents
- Light cleaning
