SUMMARY

The Technical Support Representative is responsible for supporting all Chamber departments in their IT needs. The Technical Support Representative is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any IT tickets created by end users for workstations, printers, phones, and software. The Technical Support Representative will manage relationships with third-party service providers for network and software needs when appropriate. Additional responsibilities include: project and process coordination; managing the integrity of all information, workflows, and reports utilized in CRM under the guidance of the Director of Information Systems & Strategies.

This position will interact directly with users and will include assessing user problems and working to solve them. Our preferred candidates will have a proven track record of working within a team environment to successfully address technical issues as well as great analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated success with respect to problem solving and solution implementation. Attention to detail and experience in a service driven, dynamic environment is essential. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

⎯Troubleshoots any user tickets and resolves or escalates as appropriate.
⎯Performs workstation maintenance including installation of updates, virus scanning, defragmentation and optimization using existing tools.
⎯Creates new user profiles with domain access and all appropriate software/driver installation.
⎯Supports printer/scanner/copier resources with appropriate vendor relationships.
⎯Assists with meeting room setup including use of projector and wireless networks.
⎯Acts as administrator for CRM and GP to include new user and security role creation and manage the integrity of all information, workflows, reports, and filters utilized in CRM. This may include periodic audits of all information stored in CRM.
⎯Acts as liaison for website administration, Click Dimensions / Eventbrite, telecom system and internal cellular needs.
⎯Participates in other Chamber activities to propel the Chamber’s mission of Driving Regional Economic Prosperity.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

This position requires: High computer skill set (ability to use & understand Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Project, and Word applications, SQL, network infrastructure and relational database management.
•Basic knowledge of all currently supported Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office.
•A working knowledge of Windows Command Line and Network Printing.
•Familiarity with File and Folder Security and x86 hardware, components and troubleshooting.
•Familiarity with Storage technologies (performance, interconnect, data protection).
•An understanding of User expectations and typical IT policies and procedures.
•Beginner knowledge of Active Directory, DNS (Internal and Internet), Mac OS, Network Management Technologies (WMI, SNMP), and Group Policy.
•Beginner knowledge of troubleshooting mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
•A simple understanding of Network Management Technologies (WMI, SNMP).One year of technical support experience, schooling, or equivalent).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's Degree in Business with a preference for Information Management or 3-5 years’ work experience in related field. (Information Management).Important Knowledge areas: basic finance, computer skills, project planning, sales process/administration, customer service, writing and communications skills.
