Maintenance Technician Job Description
Reports to: Property Manager
Department: Maintenance

Summary
Complete all general maintenance required for multi-family housing structures and grounds including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC work, landscaping, general construction and cleaning.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Prioritize, follow up and/or complete assigned maintenance requests
• Thoroughly document all work completed for maintenance requests
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and office staff to ensure correct and timely completion of maintenance requests
• Communicate clearly, fully, and concisely about all pertinent information
• Execute a detailed apartment turn (make ready) as instructed by Property Manager
• Initial and final inspections of apartment turn (make ready)
• Assist in proper record keeping of key log
• Answer and complete emergency calls in timely manner
• Assist property manager in key vendor relations
• Maintain ‘picture perfect’ grounds by following daily cleaning schedule
• Assist property manager in supply orders
• Maintain a customer focused attitude at all times
• Maintain personal transportation, cell phone service, and basic set of tools to complete work
