Barton House is a small, private Memory Care Assisted Living located in the West Nashville/Bellevue area. We were the first specialized Memory Care home in Nashville and continue to be the only community dedicated to serving folks with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The perfect candidate will thrive in the intimate, friendly, non-corporate environment of Barton House.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer nursing care to patients
• Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields-experience with cognitively impaired residents a plus
• Must be a self-starter-will supervise other employees
• Ability to build rapport with patients and framilies
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a slow paced environment
