The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for a Part-Time Work Study Student in the Maintenance department to work at the Anderson County Higher Education Center location. Work schedule could be either or both Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 am either/or 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  Can work additional time if schedule permits.

Required Qualifications:

To qualify for a Federal Work-Study award, a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), meet the general eligibility requirements for federal student aid, demonstrate financial need and be enrolled at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville.

Must be dependable, responsible, punctual, professional and able to work independently

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Student Break Areas: clean tables, kitchen counters, doors and windows
• Halls: Moping and/or sweeping floors pickup trash if there is any
• Bathrooms: Cleaning men’s and women’s bathrooms, trash, toilets, counter tops, mirrors, mop floors and restock toilet paper and paper towel dispensers
• Classrooms: wipe off and sterilize all desk, sweep floor, mop if needed
• Outside: pickup trash, possibly weed removal or spraying
• Moving tables/chairs for events and classroom setup
• Assist maintenance department in completing service requests or tickets for assistance
• Taking out trash
• Other duties as assigned
