The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is accepting applications for a Part-Time Work Study Student in the Cosmetology program. Work schedule is 2 to 3 days per week flexible schedule that is not during class time at a rate of $12/hour.
Required Qualifications:
To qualify for a Federal Work-Study award, a student must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), meet the general eligibility requirements for federal student aid, demonstrate financial need and be enrolled at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville.
Any current student can apply to any open work study position
Understanding how to do laundry is a plus
Good phone etiquette
Must be dependable, responsible, punctual, professional
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Laundry and Cleaning
- Help prepare class materials
- Inventory
- Stock and arrange supplies in the dispensary and clinic stations
- Answering telephone
- Taking messages between day and evening classes
